今年もd.schoolが東工大にやってきます！
東京工業大学チーム志向越境型アントレプレナー育成プログラム（CBEC）及びグローバルリーダー教育院（AGL）の講義の一環ですが、貴重な機会ですので、今回もご興味ある皆さんにも参加いただけるように致しました。
本イベントは、一昨年・昨年に続き3回目で、今回のテーマは「Deepening the Practice of Design」です。皆さんは「デザイン思考」を課題解決のための手順、いわばプロセスと理解しているかもしれません。それはそれで機能する場面も多いのでが、よりイノベーティブな成果を求めるのであればより深いアプローチやマインドセットが必要です。いわば、「デザイン思考」をより効果的に機能させるためにどのように対峙すべきなのかに焦点を当てて、話を進めていく予定です。
なお、LECTUREの翌日に行われる限定メンバーによるワークショップ「Design Challenge」に参加する方は、必ず、本LECTUREも受講するようにしてください。
✔ 本LECTUREは、どなたでも参加申込はできますが、定員以上の申込があった場合は、本講演会の主旨（講義の一環）に鑑み、EDGE関係者、リーディングプログラム関係者、本学学生・教員・職員を優先し、それ以外の方は選抜となりますことご了承ください。選抜で、参加いただけない場合は、mailにてご連絡致します。

d.school comes to Tokyo Tech again in this year! Cross Border Entrepreneur Cultivating Program (CBEC) and Academy for Global Leadership(AGL) are pleased to announce a special lecture about "Deeping the Practice of Design" by leading tutors from Stanford University's d.school. Most people are introduced to design thinking via "the process" or "a process" -- the steps and procedure of using the design approach to problem-solving. This is very useful in many ways, however we believe a deeper practice and mindset are necessary to have the most success using design thinking. In other words, beyond the design process, a designerly way of being is also needed. This is true for an individual, a team, and a company/organization. The LECTURE aims to discuss some of these 'designerly ways' and various aspects of design thinking that go beyond process.
In the meantime, all participants to the follloing workshop of "Design Challenge" are being requested to join the LECTURE as well.
✔ Although anybody can be registered, please note the registrations enrolled by the students and tutors who are concerning both EDGE program and Program for Leading Graduate School will be prior to those of others by considering the nature of this LECTURE. If the number of registration excesses the limit, the enrollment will be selected. For such the people who cannot join this LECTURE, notice will be dispatched to the people by e-mail.

【About d.school】
d.schoolは通称で、正式名称はHasso Plattner Institute of Design at Stanford. イノベーター（革新者）の育成を目指し2005年に設立。創造的な製品やサービスを生み出すという「デザイン思考」が学べる場として、最近特に注目を集めている。
The d.school, Hasso Plattner Institute of Design at Stanford, is a hub for innovators at Stanford and was established in 2005. A lot of attention has been focused in the d.school, as the school for learning and executing "design thinking" to produce creative products and services.http://d.school.stanford.edu/

(1) Thomas Both: d.school講師
カリキュラム・教育担当。スタンフォード・デザイン・マスターズ出身で人間中心デザインの専門家。
Curriculum and Experience Lead. Thomas is a graduate of the Stanford Design Master's Program and brings with him on human-centered design.
(2) Scott Witthoft: d.school講師
創造性を最大化する「場」の作り方を解説した「make space」の共著者。ワシントン大学土木工学出身。
d.school D'arbeloff fellow 2008-2009 & lecturer. Scott is a co^author of "Make Space", a book of "how to set the stage for creative collaboration. He studied civil engineering at Washington Univ.
(3) David Janka: d.school講師
メデイカル・スクール出身。デザイン思考の考え方を医療教育、医療提供、医療機器設計分野の革新に役立てようとしている。
Lecturer. d.school Levinthal fellow 2011-2012. After graduating medical school, he joined d.school full-time as a fellow, working to integrate design thinking principles into medical education, healthcare delivery, medical device design and global health practice.
✔ 注意：d.schoolによるワークショップ「Design Challenge」は上記講演とは別に3月15-16日（水・木）に行います。参加学生は40名を予定しています。参加に興味のある学生は、下記問い合わせ先迄。
✔ NOTE："Design Challenge", a full 2-days workshop, will be held on 15-16/March (Wed & Thu) separately from this Lecture. Around 45 students including AGL members will join the workshop.
