Institute Professor and Master of Dojo Sadaoki Furui received the 63rd NHK Broadcasting Culture Award (for fiscal 2011).
Japan Broadcasting Corporation established the award in 1958 to commemorate its 25th anniversary, and has since presented the award to persons who have contributed to broadcasting business and improved the broadcasting culture. For details, see the following Websites (in Japanese):
