d.school comes to Tokyo Tech 2015 -LECTURE-
Cross Border Entrepreneur Cultivating Program (CBEC) and Academy for Global Leadership(AGL) are pleased to announce a special lecture about "Practicing Innovation : Experiences and Experiments at the Stanford d.school" by leading tutors from Stanford University's d.school.
In addition to the lecture, a panel discussion, moderated by Prof. Celine Mougenot is going to be planned as well.
・Although anybody can be registered, please note the registrations enrolled by the students and tutors who are concerning both EDGE program and Program for Leading Graduate School will be prior to those of others by considering the nature of this LECTURE. If the number of registration excesses the limit, the enrollment will be selected. For such the people who can not join this LECTURE, notice will be dispatched to the people by e-mail.

The d.school, Hasso Plattner Institute of Design at Stanford, is a hub for innovators at Stanford and was established in 2005. A lot of attention has been focused in the d.school, as the school for learning and executing "design thinking" to produce creative products and services.http://d.school.stanford.edu/
#Guest Speakers:
(1) Thomas Both:
Curriculum and Experience Lead. Thomas is a graduate of the Stanford Design Master's Program and brings with him on human-centered design.
(2)Scott Witthoft:
d.school D'arbeloff fellow 2008-2009 & lecturer. Scott is a co^author of "Make Space", a book of "how to set the stage for creative collaboration. He studied civil engineering at Washington Univ.
(3)David Janka:
Lecturer. d.school Levinthal fellow 2011-2012. After graduating medical school, he joined d.school full-time as a fellow, working to integrate design thinking principles into medical education, healthcare delivery, medical device design and global health practice.
NOTE:
"Design Challenge", a full 2 day workshop, will be held on 18-19/Jul(Sat & Sun) separately from this Lecture. Around 45 students including AGL members will join the workshop.
