◆2014年11月:橋本さん、大内さん、井上さんによる「Startup Weekend Tokyo Tech」の開催/ Nov/2014-Hashimoto, Ohuchi, Inoue at the "Start Up Weekend Tokyo Tech" event for planning, organizing and managing the creation of a new business:

学生・社会人合わせて約70名が参加。世界各地で行われている起業イベントとして人気を集めている"Start Up Weekend" を、今回Start Up Weekend事務局と打ち合わせ「技術」を前面に打ち出した初のイベントとして企画・運営しました。/ "Startup Weekend" events have become popular worldwide, and this was the first such event focused on "technology" in Japan, attracting about 70 participants, with students from various universities mixing with professionals for 2-day "Startup Weekend", and Hashimoto, Ohuchi and Inoue were fully engaged in management of this event.

◆ 2015年2月:辻さん/ Feb/2015: Tsuji

東京大学で行われたEDGE(Enhancing Development of Global Entrepreneur)プログラムのイノベーション・チャレンジ・コンペティション2015に参加し、書類選考から選ばれた約250人13チームに中から優勝しました。辻さんのチームは、本学・東大・早稲田の学生に拠るチームで全員文科省リーディングプログラムの所属生です。「働く母親と子供の、よりよいコミュニケーションに向けて」というテーマに合わせ、母親と保育園とのSNSを提案しました。単にアイデアにとどめず、ユーザーインタビューと改良を加えた点が評価されたようです。/ Ms. Tsuji led the team with 4 students from Tokyo Tech, Tokyo Univ. and Waseda Univ., and received the 1st prize at the EDGE (Enhancing Development of Global Entrepreneur) Program - Innovation Challenge Competition 2015, held at Tokyo University. All members of the team belong to the Leading Program. The theme of the completion was "Seeking better communication between working mothers and their children", and Ms. Tsuji and her team presented new SNS service for working mothers and nursery schools. The team's high evaluation wasn't just for their "idea", but also reflected the preparation for and interview process with potential clients.

◆イノベーションを起こすアントレプレナー / Entrepreneurs causing innovation:
「新たな分野を開拓し設定できる」人材を養成します。/ We are aiming to foster leaders who can develop and execute in emerging fields (markets) of research, technology, and business.

◆創造性と責任 / Creativity and Responsibility:
「リーダーシップ」=「アントレプレナーシップ」は、単に会社を興す事ではなく、社会の責任あるリーダーとして周囲のために振る舞えるかの素養と考えます。"Leadership" and "Entrepreneurship" can in a sense be equal, but entrepreneurship should not be for merely establishing enterprises, it should also embody leadership with a sense of responsibility to society.

◆実行する / Execution to overcome barriers:
国、宗教、人種、組織を乗り越える実行力を養います。/We are fostering execution capability that can overcome organizational barriers of nations, religion, and race.

方針とコンセプト/Direction and concept:

◆ 「リーダーシップ」を身につけるのが目的ではなく、「リーダーシップ」を発揮して何を行うかが重要と考えます。/ Attaining "leadership" is not the purpose of this Dojo. Rather, it is the process of executing "something" through the exercise of "leadership" that is more important - the act of leading rather than the position of leadership.

◆ しっかりした知識・論理性は勿論ですが、積み重ねの延長線上ではない不連続なステップアップ、即ち、過去や常識に捕われない新たな創造性(発想)とその価値を認めるユーザー(市場・顧客)の要望の認識という「ジャンプ」を重視します。/ While knowledge and logical thinking are fundamental, of more importance to Global Leaders is the ability for lateral "jumping", non-linear execution, and creativity not linked to previous experience, perceived common sense and understanding, but instead to craft structure that better meet future needs of users (markets and customers).

◆ 社会に対する自らの個人の機能の拡充を重視します。/ Expansion of individual's capabilities is more important to society.

◆ 熱意、やる気、を重視します。Motivation and desire are important factor to do good job.

ハウツーではなく、「共感」「定義」「発想」「試作」「フィードバック」「改善」のエコ・システムの概念の習熟を重視します。 / Not emphasizing on "how to" type of training, iteration of innovation eco-system concept; "empathize", "define", "ideation", "prototype (MVP)", "feedback" and "blush-up", should be more important.
